People generally avoid the superstition of collecting the bouquet at weddings. But as soon as the bride threw her flower into the air, all of her single friends ran to catch it. Everyone ran as fast as they could, even the innocent eight-year-old child on the far left.

Even though they were superstitious, the single people who caught the bouquet seemed to enjoy the competition. This tradition comes from England, where women guests would try to tear off pieces of the bride's dress or flowers at the wedding because they thought it would bring them good luck.
