Our dear dog discovered unexpectedly a newborn bunny this morning. While investigating our yard, the dog apparently came across the small creature and couldn’t resist bringing it back to show us.
The furry guest pleased and startled us both. Although we swiftly brought the rabbit back to its hiding place, it was a touching event that brought back memories of the pleasures of having an adventurous and inquisitive canine friend.
The fact that our dog’s instinct to tell us about this finding is evidence of the close relationship we have had over the years. These kinds of events let us appreciate the opportunity to be dog owners and the countless surprises they offer into our lives.
