Dog Won't Stop Barking After Family Moves to New Home

The House Needed a Bit of Work

The layout and interior of the home were stunning, as most old Victorians tend to be, but it still needed some attention. The hardwood floors showed their age, with the stain worn down in places and a few boards creaking or bowing underfoot. Some spots on the walls needed a fresh coat of paint to restore their charm. Despite these minor issues, the house was in fairly good shape overall

Renovations wouldn’t require a massive effort—just the typical updates you’d expect with a historic property. For example, the original crown molding and intricate woodwork remained intact, adding character that newer homes often lack. A bit of elbow grease and a weekend or two could easily bring this gem back to its former glory. Isn’t it amazing how a little TLC can transform an old house into a dream home? With its timeless architecture and solid foundation, this Victorian had all the makings of a true classic.
