 If someone attempts to take your leftovers, do you feel the same way as this small kitty?  We don't have anything against you right now.  Since some humans (and even some animals) are like this, we're going to presume that this cat is one of those who is very motivated by food.  Also, even though they were in front of a big pile of food, they wanted to know for sure that it was theirs.  In other words, they climbed their food mountain and took it for themselves!

 This cat seems like it's yelling, "This is mine!" I own all of this!  Oh my God!  It matters what kind of food it consumes, even if we know it's not a mean cat.  That makes a lot of sense.
