 You know that when you try to introduce your cat to another cat, it typically goes well and badly at the same time.  Cats are naturally solitary and independent, yet they may form bonds with other animals, even when they are introduced into new families.  Also, even though we know the parents of this kitten hoped their pet would be pleased with another cat in the home, this body language and facial expression show that they were incorrect.
