Getting underwater pictures involves special difficulties. This in mind, we inquired of Daniel about the main challenges he encounters while capturing aquatic life. Sly said: "Underwater photography presents several difficulties. Often lighting is the largest one. Underwater, light acts somewhat differently; I have had to try several lighting methods, particularly for pictures of animals like the potbellied seahorse.
