Kelly DeLong, founder of Ancient House Dreams and a century-old home owner, tells Bored Panda that her obsession with ancient homes began in her early years.

"My mother used to take us past Marietta, GA's lovely historic homes, when I was a little child. We lived in a house constructed in 1910 with hardwood flooring, vintage windows, and lofty ceilings as teenagers. That sealed my passion for old houses.
