The Cirkut, a large format film camera, was patented in 1904. The film could create 360-degree images up to 20 feet long and was available in sizes (5) to (16″). The camera and film revolved on a specialized tripod while the exposure was taking place. Commercial photographers who wished to record exceptional events or city views were the ones who employed these unique cameras the most.
