Saved from a neglected house devoid of food, water, or sun protection, Dawn is a female pit bull. The dog was used as a "breeding machine," forced to see her several litters of pups taught to battle by dog fighters and die before her. Though Dawn's new foster parents made her feel like herself once more, the dog was physically and mentally exhausted from all she had gone through.
