#13 Spinach

Spinach, a one-eyed dog, arrived at the shelter only three months old and remained there without being adopted 432 days later. The dog was so depressed that he nearly stopped eating, but the volunteers would not give up on him and would offer Spinach 2-4 bowls of food just to make him somewhat happier. After almost a year of waiting, a family in Oklahoma fell in love with Spinach and at last received his happy ending.
