6. Reach for the Scotch Tape
Scotch tape is an excellent tool for home French manicures and accurate, professionally appearing nail art. To guarantee that your base color is completely dry before adding the tape, you should wait at least twenty minutes, so you can produce exact lines. To create your selected design, press down all corners to stop polish seepage, cut small bits of tape, and securely attach them. For French tips, diagonally put the tape across your nail to show just the tip. Apply your second color, then, working in one seamless motion, rapidly remove the tape while the polish is still wet. With this technique one may also design geometric patterns, stripes, or color blocks. First applying the tape to your skin can assist in somewhat reducing its stickiness, thereby preventing it from lifting your foundation color.
